Does anyone know where I can find some free downloadable meshes for Blender? I’m learning the program for uni, but my focus is on lighting and rendering. I don’t have the time presently to learn modelling. I’m just after some free messhes I can experiment with texturing, lighting and rendering. If anyone can help me out just email me at:

3D Cafe. Most are in 3D Studio format. You can use the 3DS import script to import them into Blender.

It’s 3DS, which is different from the MAX format. AFAIK, one has to have Max installed (and the right version at that) to be able to convert Max files. Very proprietary.
