I got tired of people posting .rar files on BA and not being able to open them with WinZip. So for those of us who can’t open .rar files I did a little research for you and found a free program that decompresses both .zip and .rar files. Enjoy!

7zip is the shit.
Right , 7zip works really good, but with the integrated submenus.
Yeah, but Winrar isn’t free.
Winrar is a freeware. You can use it as much as you want, you just have popup menu at the start asking if you want to register and in that way, buy it. Hardly an anoyance. I’ll take a look at 7zip though.

I use umm It’s a mac program ummm can’t remember the name lol.
I had a horrible time with Zipgenius, we had it on the school computers but it kept crashing when you tried to extract a zip, so we ended up removing it completely from the computers.
I heartily recommend 7zip.
