I’want to use free textures from a website in my blender projects.
However I don’t know anything about licenses.
Can somebody recommend me a website with free textures that really guarantee I can use them without any problems considering the license?

Poly haven is probably one of the better known sites- i mostly use it for HDRIs but they have some great textures too.
There’s also Share Textures which also looks great.
The textures are under CC0 licenses which basically means no copyright, as the creators have generously relinquished ownership.

Most of the time if the website allows to download textures without further informations it’s that you can use it in your project especially if they are non-commercial. If it’s for a professional project it might be worth double checking but it’s probably fine.
What generally these website don’t allows is redistributing the textures, if you plan to sell your model or distribute it for free then it’s worth double checking that you have the rights.
Now it’s a bit different with photo websites like unsplash or pixabay, many time you can use the photo but you might need to credit the author. Generally you can see the licence next to the download button.
And when it’s a paid service photos are watermarked and you should buy them to get the full quality.
