Freezing rigid body simulation

Hello, everyone. I have an easy question that I can’t quite figure out and can’t seem to find in my searches. I want to place a Suzanne mesh on a floor. I would like to have it positioned in a natural position, so I thought I would use the rigid body physics system and run a simulation. Once the simulation moves the mesh into a natural position, I would like to use that position as the new default position of the Suzanne and reset it’s frame number to 1. I can’t seem to figure how to bake the simulation and reset the objects position. Can anyone help?



this is very easy. Just open up the Physics Panel on the left side and hit “Apply Transformation”.
