I have seen the sculptures by @sergeygrechanyuk, and like the painterly look. And thought it could be fun to try to create something similar. (I think Sergey Grechanyuk uses zbush for details).
I’m also following @jamajurabaev expriments with Gravity Sketch and Blender. In this post he talks about openVDB, but I can’t figure out where or why it’s in his workflow?
I don’t think it’s possible to get that “wet clay” look using Gravity Sketch alone, it’s somehow to clean and misses the ability to subtract from objects.
Right now I have modeled in Gravity Sketch, exported as obj, imported the obj into Blender, but it comes into separated objects. I guess that’s where openVDB makes a difference?
Well what’s my question?? do you think it’s possible to achieve a look like the ones of Sergey Grechanyuks sculptures in Blender - and what would be the best workflow?
Thanks
Jorgensen
