FrOSCon is a two day conference on Free Software and Open Source, taking place for the second time on August, 25th/26th 2007 at the Fachhochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Sankt Augustin near the cities of Bonn and Cologne.

Now I’m currently invovlved in setting over a Druppal site, that’s where I heard this conference existed…

It’s cheap (5€), it might be good, but if I go I’m still not in the clear wether it’s a suitable venue to evangelise people about Blender as it seems from the current program to be more oriented towards webdev than 3D.

If anybody has heard/been to this event, I’d like to hear from them to know wether it’s going to be worth driving there.

You still have four days (until the end of June 30) to propose a talk
[1] for FrOSCon [2]. Please feel free to be creative; these need not be
dry academic lectures, but can be workshops, demonstrations of modules
or sites, lightning talks, round-table discussions and so forth. See the
FrOSCon group [3] for more details and a list of proposals [4] that have
been submitted so far.
