Here is my first post in quite a while, an icy nature scene completed start to finish in one afternoon.
Rendered in Cycles at 1024 samples, with a fair amount of post processing in Photoshop.
Hopefully the noise blends in with the snow
Any comments, critiques, or suggestions are appreciated!

Did you model everything from scratch in an afternoon?
Aside from the obvious: that’s a questionable maple bark, and you’d never put a maple tap that low, looks great for an afternoon’s work!

Yup, the tree and ground are a bit of sculpting but mostly displacement so it didn’t take long. And I probably should have just left out the tap, as it doesn’t read well and I’m almost certain that isn’t maple bark
