Grapes:
Cut a grape in half.
Cut one half almost in half again so there is a bridge of skin between the quarters.
Place in microwave.
Watch the pretty sparks .
If you’re lucky you’ll get rising balls of plasma.
Bad things: bad smell
Lightbulbs:
Place in microwave for ten seconds.
Watch the pretty colors .
repeat.
Bad things: lightbulb can blow if placed for more than ten seconds
CD:
Place in microwave for 3 second.
Watch the pretty sparks .
Bad thing: noxious smoke, plastic can melt
that’s all the ones i’ve done. If anybody knows any cool ones please post
Disclaimer:The above activities may cause harm to you and your microwave
well, only if you cut them into quarters then arrange two of those quarters so they are barely touching each other. Or, like it says above when you cut the grape the second time leave a small sliver of skin between the two quarters
There’s an interesting message on the first page from someone in Yugoslavia who claims that his friends in the army used microwave ovens with the doors removed as fake missile tracking radars during the war… The idea being that the attacking planes waste their anti-radiation missiles on microwave ovens. I have no idea whether this worked or not…
btw, be very careful with this stuff, a friend of my brothers tried cooking an egg in a microwave (not as an experiment, he just wanted something to eat!). When he opened the door, the egg exploded, covering his face with hot egg… He was taken to hospital with very serious burns…
Also, keep your genitals far away from food-cooking devices, especially microwaves.
I hope you don’t plan on eating out of the microwave after burning CD’s in it. After all, I’m pretty sure CD’s release mercury vapor when roasted. Nevermind…anyone who sticks anything but food in the microwave deserves to have something like that happen to them.
About the eggs…its perfectly safe to cook them in the microwave, just take the egg out of the shell first…
