I’ve made this as a quick test, some days ago, using Cycles.
I thought it was quite funny to post here :
I was inspired by some random video on Facebook with similar funny movements.

Ball position is hard keyframed. Then rotation of both ball and torus and driver on ball distance from center… Surprizingly, it works perfectly
