I’ve never seen one personally, but I have seen a few pictures of those exotic eggs. Most of them are laced with actual gold. I suggest you add a little bit of reflection to the gold material and take advantage of blender’s awesome new raytracing. Whoooo!

Well I’m not using any references (I’m blending 5 yeards allready) just few minutes work… Wanted to spend some time
