Game character is all Funky in 2.25

Hello, Everyone.

Because my game was starting to get choppy because of all the work, I decided to continuing building it in 2.25, because it’s supposed to have about twice as much RAM, or something. But when I loaded my blend from 2.42a to 2.25, everything shows up and looks fine-- including the character’s armature–except for one thing: I can’t see the character in solid or textured form! The character mesh is still there when I switch to edit mode, but whenever I tab out, it disappears again. Sometimes, there appears to be some remains of the character’s solid or textured mesh hanging or dangling somewhere in the blend, but it’s all deformed! I’ve tried recalculating the normals, switching in and out of face select mode, but nothing…
If any of you could help with this, I’d be very much obliged.

Its parent to the armature must have been corrupted somehow during the transition. Try unparenting the mesh from the armature than reparenting it.

Ctrl + N on faces

if that isn’t it then yeah its possible that the mesh itself is being told by the armature to twist itself off into the infinite planes somewhere - so I’d seperate them like the guy above says =p
