Posted a while back about a character I was working on, and figured I’d share the update. I started 3d modeling in February of this year (as well as learning game development in UE4). So on and off I’ve worked on this guy, between modeling, adjusting the concept, and re-modeling. I’ve baked the normals in and textured him in Substance Painter. He’s about 70,000 tri’s, which is high, but I can still optimize if I need to, and he will mostly be the only character on the screen so I think I can get away with it. This is my first “finished” model, so I would love feedback. I will upload him to Sketchfab as soon as Substance fixes their Sketchfab exporter. Thanks!
