Game Engine Multiple Platforms

Hello everyone,

So i have a question about Blender Game Engine working on various platforms PC, Linux and im planning to get a MAC for my game development.

But i want to know will the game work just like it would on its platform of origin on the others “Linux and MAC”

Your game consists of:

  • the platform specific blender player
  • your platform-independent game description (blend file) and
  • (optional) various platform-independent game assets (sounds, texture, blend files …)

The only platform dependent part is the blenderplayer. This means when you deliver your game, you need to ensure to deliver the right blender player. Typically you offer different options (one for each platform).
