Game engine texture problem

I just made my first runtime game beta, but something is not quite right. The textures (like the hero’s face, and the sky) don’t look the way they did in the render window. What’s wrong because the stars did not render at at. I’m kinda new to blender so help a noob out.

The game engine will not look like a rendered image and stars won’t show in game unless you have a sky box or sky dome of stars textured to it. The game engine is a bit to get a grasp on at first but well worth the learning curve.

Thanks I didn’t know that. Can anyone recommend a good game engine tutorial and / or briefly explain what is rendered in the game engine?
