Game: Face Rendering

Hi Blenders!

I got a problems for a game Im making in 2.49b. Take a look at the picture below;

As you can see, I have a problem. I think its because faces of the house, such as doors, are to close to the wall. And because of that blender renders “both”. the mesh of the building is just an simple building mesh, then I added some external objects, such as doors and windows and then joined all of the objects (included the building mesh)
with Ctrl + J. A good thing to know is that I didnt put the objects very close to the walls, the problem occur anyway. If I put them further out, they’re outside of the building.

Does anyone got a solution for this kind of problem? Is there some material settning that can prioritize the materials rendering in the BGE or something?

Thanks on prehand.

/Alex

This is because of the z-Buffer rendering.

Your best choice is to remove the walls behind the objects.

An other option would be to have the doors and windows as part of the texture, that they are drawn directly on the walls.

I hope it helps

Thank you “Monster”. I thought this would happen, its just back and redesign the houses.

And by the way, very nice tutorial you got there.

Thanks
