  1. i recently purchased the blender gamekit pdf file from the blender home site. where can i find the respective tutorial files so that i may follow along.

2.where can i find and download the official blender help files? (When you are in the program and hit the f1 key)

3.My copy of blender is unable to export the .3ds file format. is there a patch or something that i am download?

I don’t know about the game kit files, but installing Python might help your .3ds problem
