The game ‘Roboblitz’ ships with Unrealed3 - epics current-gen editor for games such as Gears of War. There’s some debate about whether it’s the full editor or not - and you can probably only use it to mod levels for roboblitz, but it’s a good introduction for those wishing to get to grips with current-gen game assets.
If there was a stable .ase exporter for blender (?) One could get their models in as static meshes.
