Is there any 3d party render that could allow to use game style materials in Blender viewport . The new shaders work cool for Evee and Cycles indeed but I’d like something more old style and traditional, supporting AO channel and metallic workflow. Is there any 3d party realtime render for Blender , other than Evee that could do so ?
For years I am suggesting our hlsl coder to use solutions I invent with nodes in Blender shader editor. But recreating them in actual game often seems like impossible task . It never looks even close. Still I so much prefer Blender shader editor vs Unreal one for example. Simpler math , degrees instead of radians, etc. It so much simpler and realtime . No need to compile after evry small tweak.
Is there other options beyond Evee for Blender?
