Finished Homeworld2. I like the music in this game, though nothing can top that intro cinematic in the original Homeworld with ‘Agnus Dei’ in the background.

Deus Ex: Invisible War
Not as good as the first, but not as bad as those who would expect the same level of innovation would have you think. The graphics were heavy back in the day, but runs like a hot knife through butter in my gf7600, which is far from the freshest stock in the market.

I had that game some time ago, the graphics are so amazing, they’re pretty much what you’d expect in today’s games! When you had to save that one shipyard from attacks, holy crap, forget about trying! Couldn’t get past that level at all.
Also I’m playing Clear Skies like GE-FORCE, that thing is loaded with crashes, but if you can get past that, it’s a very cool game to play. I must have clocked in over 400 hours in oblivion, I’d waste entire days just playing that thing. Thank god I don’t play it anymore, I’ve regained a portion of my life back. It’s so huge! Currently not many PC games being released right now, but at the end of this month I’m getting Fallout 3 and Dead Space!
Starcaft2 is going to Rock!! I am also waiting for Fable 2, Mass Effect 2
Oh and is anybody else anticipating the release of starcraft 2?

When you had to save that one shipyard from attacks, holy crap, forget about trying! Couldn’t get past that level at all.
If you ever feel like taking another shot at it:
At the beginning of the mission, they tell you to start a forward resourcing operation – don’t. Your first priority is to save the shipyard. Send everything you have to defend it and start moving the mothership there too; you’ll need it there to produce reinforcements when the three carriers attack. Once that’s done, you can mine those far off asteroids, but remember, they’ll send a carrier.
Keep your numbers together as much as you can. Try to have the max number of fighters and bombers (7+7) and at least three corvettes and three pulsar corvettes. Use the slow flak frigates and gun platforms to defend the shipyard, the corvettes as midline defense, and the fighters to escort the bombers as they take out one carrier at a time.
Yeah, concentrating fire is a must. Take out only a few enemies at a time, or one big one. It’s the fastest way to reduce the enemy’s numbers. I know micromanagement stinks, but whatcha gonna do.
Hiigaran ships are good at specific things. Strike groups automatically select the best ships for each job.
That said, the game is described as hard by many people (myself included). You’ll have to play until you get it. That’s all I can think of for now.
The closest thing to a game that I have done recently is Blender.

I have had a lot of important things to do recently, and I don’t really like playing 3D games all that much anyone, though Homeworld(2? don’t remember…) was pretty cool, and I liked Uplink despite its lack of realistic detail. (think: IP addresses… lol)
Back to Chrono Trigger - best team in teh game Game = Lucca (give her mass Magic Tabs and Speed Tabs and you can kill 99% of all enemy groups with one spell before they get a chance to attack you one time), Frog (Healing + Dual Tech wtih Ayla - Frog Flare), Ayla (you need her for stealing - and Dual Tech with Frog - Slurp Kiss)
