Garrison From Battle Chasers

Is this done? I can’t tell anymore. Help me out and be brutal, please. What is working and not working.

I do still have to texture the glowing parts on the shin armor and the shoulder pads.

This is for my upcoming demo reel and job search so I have to get it as perfect as I possible can.

What was your intention when lighting it that way? I couldn’t even tell at first glance what i am looking at.
With that way of lighting i can’t give qualified feedback of the model… maybe others can.

The pose is also very strange. Is he fighting against hard wind or something?

These were are all modeled and rigged in blender using the pitchipoy rig (which is excellent!!) and then textured in Substance painter, rendered in real time from Marmoset Toolbag. I want to get a job as a character artist in the games industry here in Germany. The Magneto is from Chris Bachalo’s run on xmen a few years ago, Big Barda and Dr Doom we’re done with reference from Jack Kirby. Translating Jack Kirby into at least somewhat believable 3D is incredibly difficult. I had to play around with the design of Big Barda quite a bit. Thanks!
