Gary (character) pt.2 c&c welcome and an animation link

This is my character some of you might remember him from a while back if you viewed the topic its been a while since i been on here had harddrive crashing troubles and stuff well im back i have rigged the arms and torso need to lip sync it and do the face if any one has any pointers on that area they will be greatly appreciated

Not sure if your still editing the mesh or if you’ve moved on, but the thumbs look kind of odd, other then that though I’ve always like this guy, great expression :slight_smile:

my style is edit when find problems nothing is perfect i think it might be the angle of the render or the way i’ve bent them using the rig thanks i gotta sort the expression though so that he can close his mouth and eyes currently its just locked :expressionless: but will get sorted sum day thanks time for me to get some shut eye soon will continue tommorrow.

Thanks for the C&C keep them coming please greatly appreciated and if anyone has any tutorials or references on rigging faces or lip syncing they would be also be handy.

here is another pose going to start work on rigging the face before i move onto the creation of the legs and they a relativly simple to do. Again if you know anything about rigging want to offer advice or techniques to rig things better feel free to add them need the most help i can get to be honest

oh yeh iand if you no bout ik solvers n stuff please infom me i need to learn this stuff apparently they are good jsut cant get my head around them also about moving armatures up and down like a jaw would be helpful to.

ok going to rig the rest of the mouth sometime got the jaws done no render at the moment though any c&c will help thanks

here is an update done his mouth pretty poorly but it will do for now added another pose eyebrows done jsut gotta do eye lids and then going to create the lower prt of the character

Great character! :slight_smile: Looks like the thumb needs to “slide” down the hand a bit. It looks really wierd, even on a cartoon-ish character.
