GE [2.49] not supporting normal mirror? :S

Have i missed something or does blender actually not support mirroring of objects with normalmaps?
as you can see, everyting looks fine on one side:

But on the other side the normals are inverted:

Am i doing something wrong?

Hi,

maybe your normals are not outside. Tab into the edit mode and recalculate the normals with Strg+N.

This is a known bug in Blender 2.49. I do not know if it has been fixed in Blender 2.5x.
