Thanks amigo3d! I need such help (no native speaking english, so sometimes my words sounds… different ) . My client suggest me propriety, but I just sent him a message, witch question which word he needs on images. Really thanks!
… Just get the message: You were right!
Jorge: I use mainly low poly/subD technique. By the lack of time it is only for main shape. All holes, details etc are cuted in “collapsed” mesh (witch subdivision modifier applied). Of course it need tweaking, but holes in curved surfaces are very hard to get with all SubD.
All mesh with applied subD modifier are hand tweaking. Automatic polyreduction is fatal and gives poor results. Yes, it is much more work to do, but for example one engine of my F-111 after “hipoling” had almost 50K polys! After hand reduction: 8K. Wheel hub: 12K before 0,9 K after etc, etc.
Here is next update. Interior works. Yesterday’s state (today I’am going with seats and start with dial’s panels). Panels for knobs, dials etc are provisional of course.
It is clean, because it is still untextured. Besides it is not true about this wet fluids everywhere. They are very clean, but of course some weatherings is necessary.
Wow could this WIP get any nicer? Probably seeing your skill level. Great job man. I bet that a lot of people here are wanting to have the modeling skills you posses. At least I do. Great renders!
The cockpit it very nice, I like it very much. The details aren’t ultra fine, but from outside it will be just perfect. You did it very nicely. I wonder if you painted the textures for instruments and if the needles can be moved.
