General Grievous Custom Speeder Bike

I wanted to make a Speederbike, and for who else to make one than the awesome General Grievous? Darth Vader, but hes not really the speeder type, so lets stick to Grievous. instead of working around a nice outside, i started with a functional inside, based on the famliar brown Republic Speeder and added the outside later. the original sketch didnt work out in this model…

as you can see in the gallery, it features a tank(lid), storage and, for mr. four-arms himself, the guns are operated separately.

any hints, tips or general criticism?
(the design of an actual repulsorlift engine would allso help…)

The lighting seems harsh and I’m not sure about the procedural texture you’ve got on there. I like the model, though. Maybe you could explain more what you had in mind for this?

well, ive allways had trouble making Realistic lighting… any tips/setups?
what i had in mind was just a cool speeder bike (for grievous) after seeing a full scale replica of the original speeder bike. originally it was bone coloured like him, bit it was a bit too much… that and grievous doesnt have much bonecolour either, so i went for the colour of his Wheel bike(ish)…
anyway, ill maybe make a background for it and add the interface to the console…

It looks pretty good.

Do you know UV mapping, that I think could take it to photo realism, if that’s what your going form

yes i do
i was thinking about it, but ill just add some scratches and stuff and leave the actual colour to the procedural texture, i like it on the green one, allthoug i would have to make a total remake of the grey one to match his monowheel more…
