I’d like to generate a sound that is emitted by an object in my 3d scene and that gets louder when the camera is approaching. It could also be interesting to have some other features such as stereo or doppler effect. Do you have any idea how to do this best and what software is able to do this? Or is it best done manually in a simple wave edition program such as audacity and/or virtualdub?
I just can’t stop wondering what blender is all capable of!!!
3D modelling, ok
3D rendering, okok
Animation, cool
NLA, great!
Complete video integration, neat!
3D Sound mixing, astonishing!
Physics, … ok
Scripting, the soluting if there’s still not what you need!
Gaming, well I’ve no words to desribe how cool it is!
Is that all or is there STILL some absolutely cool stuff I don’t know about??? Oh no, I forgot the Monkey funtion, lol!
And all that for so few Mo and it’s free software %| Let me just ask, does it also make your coffee, or is this still in the todo?
Don’t you mean blender.org? Because I didn’t notice much changes in the blender3d.org site, it’s still more or less the NAN commercial site, even if there is no more mention of NAN.
Oh yes and I still forgot the web plugin feature, and of cours I’m not even speaking about all the scripts an plug-in!
3D sounds are only available for the realtime engine though (not sure if you were asking about that or not). It would be a really nifty tool indeed if it was implemented for the rendering engine.
