Hi,
How can I generate a f-curve from the upper and lower points of another f-curve?
(check out the image as example, I want to generate the green f-curve from the red f-curve)
Thank you
Moved from “General Forums > Blender and CG Discussions” to “Support > Technical Support” (this could also be an animation or coding topic)
Do you need the results to be two separate f-curves, or would it be sufficient to have the source f-curve modified to show its extremes as you’ve shown?
Hi Fweeb, thank you for answering
I’d need the results to be two separate f-curves.
(ps.: I’ve generate the red f-curve from a sound (bake sound to f-curve) but I’d like It was more simplified as the green f-curve is.)
Thank you very much
Hi,
I just got it. I’m going to make a tutorial showing how I did it and post here soon
just anticipating a little bit:
I unbaked the red curve (using the ‘Unbaked F-curve’ addon from Liero) then simplified it (using the ‘Simplify Curves’ addon, which is default)
Thank you all
for any question just ask me
by the way, check out my youtube channel about blender: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPVLrFnNEpL7fSZIKiTKLaA
Glad you were able to find a solution! And even better, thanks for sharing it with the rest of the forum. I’m sure someone else will run into a situation like this down the road, so this thread will certainly be a help to them.
