Geo Nodes - segment lengh help

Hello,

I am startet to get involved with geometry-nodes by trying to set up a simple wireframe for a cylindric-shaped object but don´t come to the result I want:

So far I made a basic cylinder with two different circles which are conected by a bezier-curve which is “arrayed” around as instances on points.

The problem I came across is by making the horizontal edge-loops for completing the wireframe - i tried to make those ones by curve segments which I then want to use as instances around one of the allready existing circles as I allready did it with the bezier elements… but they are still to long because I dont know how to scale them individually so that they fit inbetween the bezier -segments…

I am keep going to push my node approach as far as I came to a satisfy result but maybe one of you guys has a hint…

Thank you in advance! Michael

Hello,

SOLVED - I used a different approach to came to the result I want. That made the node tree much more smaller: I used a cylinder instead of a line which is in this Case (Radius) much more easy to controle and allready had all topology I needed… it was just neceserry to bend it with the bezier-curve.

The result feels not as direct as I had in mind but I am absolutely happy…

I didn´t came across that solution by myself, i found a tutorial on youtube which is really good explained. See YT-link and blend-file attatched.
