Geodesic domes. Could they be abstract, or just modern art?

Hi all,

I’ve been playing with Andy Houston’s Geodesic dome script for Blender again. (Andy thanks again, I keep finding new methods and results. Top banana [!] )

<http://reblended.com/www/sonix/Assets/Images/Geodesic.jpg> Small collection of various domes. Blender rendered. Link.

<http://reblended.com/www/sonix/Assets/Images/Geodesiccollection.jpg> Another collection of various domes. Blender rendered. These are double generated domes, that is I run the script on an already affected dome. Gives some mad fx. Link.

<http://reblended.com/www/sonix/Assets/Images/Geodesicheaven.jpg> Three domes in one, the red dome sits in the middle surrounded by a plastic dome with a spiky frosted glass dome surrounding that. 3DSMax 5 rendered for raytracing. Link.

<http://reblended.com/www/sonix/Assets/Images/Geodesicheaven2.jpg> Again three domes, one for the pedastal, one inside the other. 3DSMax 5 rendered for raytracing. Yellow shader is my own Translucent shader for Max. Link.

C & C welcome as ever,

Sonix.

Abstract Art and Modern Art.

i’d call it a bunch of colourful shapes, very cool though =D
