Geometral background how?

Hi, I have a photogrammetry 1/2-mesh with a .exr world background. But when I go to 1 geometral view, the background disappear.

I want to add an image to the backdround of the perpencular view “number 1” without GIMP off’course please.

But I can’t. Do you know a nodes solution please?

I tested with the background image of the orthographic camera but in render mode the image disappear…

World shader aren’t shown / rendered in orthographic view.. but images (as empty, references or background) are shown. If you want to render them too then images as planes is the easiest way to go. Ohh.. meanwhile this addon is replaced (?) by the native “Mesh Plane”..

You can always add background in compositor:

Just set transparent on:

Ha yes you have the good tip: transparent in film! Yes ! Thks Andrzej !

Thks Okidoki you are right background image from the camera is not the good choice

I found “mesh plane” in A menu. it’s ok. It’s that I was looking for…

Congrats.

Result: There are black artefacts problems of the mesh but the path is good !
