Looking good! That will give a lot of control over the shape. Speaking of which, here’s an ugly prototype of my proximity cage idea:
I thought it might be a cool way of customizing the shape right in the viewport, and adding artistic “wobble and wonk”. (as @Xeofrios would say)
It’s by no means usable, but it demonstrates my concept in a quick and dirty way. Thought it might give you some inspiration:
