get an even light in a area?

how can i add it so there is a nice even lighting in side the area. like an ambiant light with no source?

Bingo. In the Shading buttons (F9), goto the World settings (the little Earth picture), and click the Amb Occ tab. Turn on Ambient Occlusion. The default settings will work, but it will be a bit grainy. The better quality you set (less grain) the longer the render times. Here are some tutorials about it:

Hope this helps!

thanks; i have never even explored in that earth button before to see what it has

edit:: about the render times; i am not worried about those my area lambs and normal lamps have sampling of 10 on them so my rendering already takes a while :stuck_out_tongue:

Ambient Occlusion gives a near GI stylistic look. Very nice in a lot situation. But you can do a lot too with sun lamps. With clever placing of sun lamps in combination with other types of lamps, most of the time will yield results that looks much nicer than AO. I prefer to call AO the ‘concrete shader’ for obvious reasons.

alright when i turn this on i dont notic anything differnt. i turn up the energy all the way and nothing? i am rendering in yafray with ray on so i dont know what it could be any help?
