I am assuming it is not in blender units since the values it returns are way too high. What unit are the values returned in exactly? maybe 1/10 BU? blender units per frame/tick?

getLinearVelocity() is a function that has to do with the physics engine, Bullet. So, the values returned are Blender Units per second. In other words,

```auto
vel = obj.getLinearVelocity() / logic.getLogicTicRate()
```

would pretty much be the amount of Blender Units moved per game frame. You could also use logic.getAverageFrameRate() if you wanted to make sure the returned value scaled better (if I’m correct).

then i’m calculating wrong. thanks.

found the reason things didnt work. BGE uses a 10x scale on world position in BUs it seems.
