Is there a way to get a texture out of a .blend file onto the local hard drive? I accidentally deleted my textures and want to take them out to modify again, but all i can do is send it from .blend file to .blend file and can’t take it out… =(
So you have textures packed within the blend file? If that’s the case, open the .blend file, go to UV/Image Editor. On the header, next to the Image there should be a small icon with arrows. Click on it and a list of images should open. Select the image/texture to open it. Then go to Image -> Save or -> Save As…
Concerning the procedural textures you can use Render Baking.
I see… Thanks for the tip. =) I was looking at the Outliners and Append/Linking, lol.
