Getting an object's rotation - Solved

Is it possible to find an object’s rotation with python?

I’ve discovered two possible routes in the dir(GameLogic.getCurrentController().getOwner()) , but documentation is nowhere to be found.

This function takes three floats (x,y, and z?) and returns some fun numbers. I have no clue what they mean.

This function returns 3 lists of 3 floats each, that look a lot like what was returned above. I think it’s meant to be a 3x3 matrix, but have no idea how it is formatted.

Social has a really good tutorial on the orientation matrix here you go

Thanks a bunch!
