Getting brighter results out of the compositor [Solved]

See attached image. In the compositor, you can see the lights look awesome, but in the actual image, they look bland. How do I get it to look more like it does in the compositor? I tried Andrew Price’s method of making things brighter by using a mix node set to add, but that doesn’t give the right effect and actually darkens/saturates the light. I have a noodle from the image node connected to a mix node with the final output of all of the combined material index nodes and messing with the mix doesn’t give better results. I have the scene clamped at 4, but dropping it to 0 doesn’t really change anything. Anyone have any advice?

Need to see expanded node tree to give much advice. cant tell where the preview is from or what kind of mix function you use?

If you don’t add 100%, it will be darker.

Nevermind, guys, I got it. I worked along my node chain until I figured it out. I needed to change a mix node from “mix” to “add.”

Thanks
