Wow the radio effect makes it look so much better, i didnt know it could have this much of an effect. Looks great btw Modron, looks like you have finally taken time off fighting with skeletor to reply first in every thread, in order to get some blending done. . I like it, is that a Pringle?

Thanks, and no, pringles are mere compressed potato-like material, whereas this one I scanned from an actual potato chip, btw, I was never arguing with skeletor.

hahhaha, he DOES get alot of blending done, its just a common misconception, go through the wip, and finished projects to see how many threads hes got

The radio is definitly better but has added a too strong green teint, I think.

With fur the rat looks really cool now. I also like the greenish lighting. It looks somehow artificial. That fits the WC #83 theme very well.

Modron that came out nice. Good colors and cute character  Always good to see your work.

are the walls displacment maps or nor maps?

Thanks guys for the comments,…the emit value on the emitor was a bit high, but I liked that it made the area look like it was filled with energy. Skeletor, the walls are 4 different maps, one for nor, two for color, and one for spec.

nice work modron…i think the green tint fits the atmosphere very nicely and the rat looks the part too…good effort

I think the radio emitter gives a great blue lighting to the box… if you can change it as the rat walks out the box you could change the extreme blue hue glowing lighting to a sunset orange or something… It looks a great style btw… I have confused these words… but I like what you’ve done…

does the radio parameters take colours? what does the radio emitter do? is it just like a light… or a filter?

if you havn’t got anything to do :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks,… The radio emittor is an object ( I used an icosphere ) that has been assigned an emit value, with radio enabled in render, and material buttons. It then acts as a light source. The glow is whatever color the material is, in this case a medium green. ( the spots were also green )

Modron. That’s one of the best I’ve seen. I liked it so much I made it the desktop image for my Blender partition (it looks great and the green color is a perfect contrast for the blue text boxes on the Windows desktop).

Very good image, Modron!
It also reminds me The Matrix, because of the green predominance (a rat Inside the Matrix?)

very smooth finshed photo. but everytime I see it I wonder what the rat would look like if he was fatter. He looks a little skinny now. Not making the head bigger but from the neck back, that would be funny. All those nachos in that computer you know that rat is eating all day.
Keep up the great work.

Thanks guys,…and RHmD, I made it my desktop too [!] lol
