Very good texturing. There is some stretching at the nose and in the breast area, but I think you know this. I think this model needs some attention at the eye area. He looks a little dead right now. But great texturing till now!
Maybe add a bump map for further details like veins and such…
And maybe even a specularity map to give him some highlights.
Fix the stretching (nose and shoulders, as stated above). Also, what resolution is your texture map? It looks blurry. You might want to try doubling the dimensions of the map. I’m seeing a lot of overall rainbowing on the texture, too, on a large scale. It almost looks like jpeg artifacts, but I’m not sure.
Modelling-wise, I would like to see a little more hard edging on the head. The skin should be really close to the bone - not a lot of padding in between. The head kind of looks plush to me right now.
Note: I crit because I care. This has great potential, and it seems like you really want to make it good.
Wow. Good crits. My texture map is 2048 by 2048 pixels. I think it’s blurry because I don’t quite know what I’m doing with painting textures yet.
I’m going to work on the modelling as well. I realize what you’re saying about the head. It looks too soft and smooth. I was looking at www.jurassicpark.com at the T-Rex, and you’re right, the shape of the skull does show through.

The images don’t show… but, anyway, what exactly is supposed to be a “gigantosaurus”? Maybe you mean a “giganotosaurus”… excuse me, I couldn’t avoid it.

The hind leg looks like it’s glued on or something, you should do something about that.
I also think the back leg should be joined to the rest of the body. Just make a big square hole in the body, extrude the edge, and hit smooth until it’s a circular shape, and do the same to the leg and weld the pairs with altM.
Yeah, I see what you’re saying. I’m working on that right now. I’ve also been adding some definition to the head area. I’ll post a pic soon.
Hey, here’s another way you could improve that leg,…it seems a bit square, so try this; Put the cursor right in the middle of the thigh, select all the thigh vertices, and in edit buttons, hit ‘to sphere’ and select about 25 percent.
Cool idea. I’ve never been able to find a use for that sphere button. I’ll try it.
Good renders ! The hind legs look a lot like chicken legs to me though, and it seems to be crouching rather than standing. Looking good otherwise though ! How about a makehuman model for scale ?
