Gil Grissom - Wacom + GIMP

A bit of skin tone practice by replication. Proportions aren’t all they should be as I was a little lazy setting them out.

Thanks for viewing,

The color shading looks great but proportins looks off and the lips need loosen and smoothed. If you like I could make a paintover and then you can see what could be changed.

Overall looks great.

That’s a kind offer, but I feel it is more helpful to move on that try and perfect what is fundamentally a flawed picture. Next time I’ll try to get a closer sketch done so my proportions match better - and I’ll probably try applying what I’ve learnt to something that isn’t an almost straight copy.

However I am making a list of general pointers for next time:

  1. Proportion better!
  2. Softer, better integrated lips (if fits facial type)
  3. Better hair!
  4. Try and achieve a more matt appearance to the skin (I know I can do shiny)
    5.-

Thanks,
Alex

Look nice

Agree with proportions ? either nature is not perfect so ?
