ztonzy: u need to update gtk to use the wacom with gimp 1.3
/me has troubles using gimp under win with wacom as well …
I have troubles in windows, could easily be a gtk issue:
examples:
pressure doesn’t work
doesn’t recognise tablet as itself (see’s it as mouse)
doesn’t adjust when I switch devices (from tablet to mouse)
I don’t really see it as a problem to use the likes of photoshop elements in windows. In linux there really isn’t an alternative to gimp that is any better.
(I need to fix linux too, my eraser doesn’t work and it forgets quickly that the stylus is not the core pointer and forgets pressure sensitivity. But unlike windows it doesn’t crash)
