I think the only things you need to do is find a way to remove the seem down the middle and extrude the lips out a bit more. Also, make it less reflective
the default value will do which is fairly low or if you wanted to do it with out scaling the individual sets, experiment with increasing it, but if you set it too high it will decimate your mesh.
To remove the seam, like Modron said select two vertices next to each other at the seam, push s, hold down Ctrl, look on lower left of 3D window, move mouse so cursor moves to the center of verices and x y z values are 0, press right mouse button. Rem doubles. Get all the double vertices on the seam and your seam will be gone.
Paradox
There is a tutorial on hair by landis in the WIP forum entitles peach fuzz something or other, that involves using alpha mapping, and another way is to use planes with a tranparency applied to them. to do that go to materials and click on ‘ztransp’ button, and turn down the ‘alpha’ slider.
<<edit>> also if you want to try a plugin, look for ripstings fiber script in python and plugins.
its a very good start but something is wrong with her nose and her lips.
for the hair you can use a alpha-textur i think but im not sure about this because never made hair.
