Glasshouse render

Im trying to render a glasshouse i have made, but the light is ugly… and there is no shadows on the ground outside the glasshouse. I have made grass particles emit from the green surface, but i disabled them for this render. Can anyone help so i can get it to look nice :D. I have previously made nice shadows, so i don’t quite understand why.

Try enabling RayTrace shadows for the light, then Tra-Shadow on the Shaders tab for anything that should receive shadow like the floor for example.

I have got the earth inside the glasshouse brown with shadows from the beams but there is no shadows outside the house, very strange, and the door which should be white is black.

The shadows is still odd. The lamps is located as shown in post one, but the light seems to come directly from above.

A little better :)… this time. It was the sun light, i thought they worked the same way as omni… but u have to rotate them to get the right direction of the light.
