Gleaming blooms

I came across a nature painting on Pinterest and decided to replicate it 3D with some magic and fantasy:yum::yum:

This is a cool off from sculpting

dude adding a looping animation on this scene would be killer, since you put so much work in the details.
Nice art!

I also prefer the first. The lighting is warm, and there is good contrast. In fact, I would probably let the tree go a little darker and perhaps accentuate the shadows even a little more. Despite the fog, the framework of the bridge needs to have solid density, perhaps slightly more than it now does. Maybe a little Z-depth gradient on the fog effect. DOF looks good now, with slight blur in the foreground that sharpens by the time it reaches the tree and remains sharp into infinity.

The histogram tool will be very useful here, to help you quantify what your eyes see. A nice bell-shaped curve with moderate peaks at either end.

Many thanks for the tip.

I’ve never really used the histogram tool, this should be an eye opener. Even z-depth too, I’ve been ignoring it.

Thanks a lot
