Glitchy mesh after using tesselate

I’m brand new , sorry if this is already on here, I couldn’t find it.
I have made a basket using the tissue add on. It worked fine, but on one side there is some weird folding up of vertices .
Can someone tell me how to clean up the mesh or otherwise fix this?

Can you show the base mesh you’ve used for tesselation. Can be something wrong there.
It can also be the side effect of merge option.

Did the base mesh have overlapping geometry there?
