i´m pretty happy abot the modeling. materials are bad though:(
I would first try using set smooth ont he bullets, theyre a bit square (as in they have points)
and for their materials, use
Alloy
Col
R: 0.8
G: 0.8
B: 0.8
A: 1.0
Shaders
Oren-nayer
ref: 1.0
Rough: 0.5
Phong
Spec: 2.0
Hard: 20
Mirror Transparent:
Raymir on
Ray mir = 0.5
Spec Trace = 1.0
and mix those around as you like. (this is my main metal material)
Turn on Autosmooth in the Edit Panel
Not sure exactly where your getting with this or what you meant by it. So I’ll go with what I take from it.
Some bullets do have “points”. But most have flat tip points. Shell casings are also very square with the only round part being the actual cylindrical (sp?) face that makes the shell round. The edges where this cylindrical face connect to the end face on the shell casing is also a very square edge 9as square as we can get it with the money being spent on the machines that make these casings.
I may have misunderstood what you said, or it may just be an issue with semantics, either or…like I said, this is just what I took away from the part being quoted.
Add some wear and scratches- glocks are meant to be abused!
yeah. well… i beg to differ
