Glossy not happening in cycles?

Hello! I’m trying to apply a glossy texture to my object ( a car) and I don’t know why, when I preview it always shows like if it was diffuse or a solid ugly color. You can see in the preview that it is glossy, but it doesn’t show up when rendered. What setting am I missing here? I’ve a sky background (default) and a light (sun) added, but still, same problem.

It’s the classic case of the object needing something to reflect (or it will look flat).

Your background does have much now, add a scene or an HDR image and the reflections should look much better.
