You need to be more specific in your information. What rendered view are you talking about? Are you using Eevee or Cycles? As far as I know, you can’t see the glow effect in cycles rendered view as that is a composition effect. If you use Eevee you should be able to see.
PS: Actually, I see the glow effect even in Cycles for the grease pencil. Can you provide more information? What are the mode and the threshold value you are using in your glow effect? Providing a screenshot would also be useful.
I actually figured it out… I just logged out of blender logged back in and it worked…
