GLSL mode in viewport

the pics i uploaded shows the same texture in viewport then your in cycles!

but don’t think it would show more the one texture in normal blender

for cycles it would probably show any number of textures which is better !

thanks

I don’t think you have understood what i said.

-Intel G31/G33 support only up to OpenGL 1.4 on Windows OS, thanks to the Intel clowns.

-GLSL to be really working needs OpenGL 2.0 minimum, OpenGL 1.4 has some GLSL extension, but not the ones required by Blender to display all the real time materials

-So you have an Intel G33 , meaning that GLSL does not work to display the realtime material in GLSL.

So in the end what you see is this , when you load the blend :

If you switch in the uv editor the textures assigned like you did in your screenshots, certainly you’ll see the rock textures, but you will not see the real time material.

While if GLSL had the realtime material working, you should see this by just loading the blend :

Basically, when you enable GLSL display in your Blender, it is nearly the same as when you use Multitexture display, you will not see the real time material.
But if you use the Cycle render, and switching the display to “rendered”, you will be able to see real time material, even on card not supporting GLSL for it.

ok not really real time

unless i used Cycles
which i;m not certain why it works in real time
it should also do teh same in GLSL i think

i mean 2.6 use only on driver for chip intel !

but anyway it’s not a big feature for me for the time being!
until i get a 64 bit mahcine may be end of this year or next year !

so no real time for the G33 Darn intel

mind you intel is supposed to come out with the faster chip in the world this spring
may be i can buy one of these if this can work on 32 bit = the knight chip
have you heard about that chip!
supposed to be a revolution in CG world!

thanks
