glsl shadows help

ok… i would like to extend the distance of a spot light to cast a shadow from farther away. in the example file i included it shows how if u move the light farther away the shadow goes away. is there any way to fix this?

You’ve got to adjust the Clip Start and Clip End settings on your light, then adjust the ‘Bias’ setting.

alright ill give that a try when i get home (in school now)

ok it looks like i got it to work. but sometimes the shadow dosent show up at first. sometimes i need to undo and redo… is there any way to do like an updated or somthing 2 make it show everything? and is there any way to use a light other then a spot light to cast shadows in the game engine?
