GLSL switches off in object mode

Not urgent but…

I’ve been texturing my unwrapped model using UV paint, where I can paint either in the UV window or on the model itself. When I am in Texture Paint mode, I get full GLSL seeing my mesh with normal map bumps and painted colour… however, as soon as I go into object mode I loose the Normal maps and the model goes into weird flat colours.

…any idea what’s wrong?
