GLSL won't work

I don’t seem to be able to get the GLSL to work in the 3D view. When its enabled, the window momentarily goes white all over and then when everything reappears there are yellow lines bordering each window and the GLSL won’t show fully.

I’m running a:

Mac OS X 10.4.11
Dual 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5
2 GB DDR SDRAM

with a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro

Should I be able to get it working with this setup?

Here’s a screenshot

Computer stats:
Mac OS X 10.4.11
Dual 800 MHz PPC G4
1.5 GB SDRAM
answer please. ive figured out some basic things work in 2.5 but i cant figure out how to use glsl even further than i can.

Select textured view mode and in the Properties panel (N) / Display settings select GLSL from the drop down list. If it doesn’t work your graphics card may not be compatible so whatever you do it wouldn’t work, given that your specs seem pretty old.

Not sure why you took the effort to drag up such an old thread when you could just raised a new one.

I was looking for the GLSL stats for 10.4.11 on google and I accidentally clicked on this thread and found it. I figured I’d ask the same cause it was unanswered.
